The Olive Tree Story

Olive Tree is a social enterprise set up in 2018, and we are on a mission to uplift underprivileged, and at-risk youths in Singapore. Olive Tree started off by helping underprivileged families in Northern Thailand. During a trip to deliver donated items to mountain villages in Northern Thailand, Olive Tree's Founder saw the poor socio-economic conditions that plagued families there. She then set up to help this community gain various crafting skills, and provide a more regular and sustainable source of income. During the pandemic when travelling was difficult, Olive Tree pivoted to help local communities in Singapore in similar ways. The crafts sold on our platforms are lovingly crafted by members of this community, local volunteer crafters and non-profit organisations in Singapore.
