The Olive Tree Story
Olive Tree is a social enterprise set up in 2018, and We are on a mission to uplift an underprivileged community in Northern Thailand. During a trip to deliver donated items to mountain villages in Northern Thailand, Olive Tree's Founder saw the poor socio-economic conditions that plagued families there. Many of these families consisted of single mothers, struggling to support their young children and elderly. Olive Tree was then set up to help this community gain various crafting skills, and provide a more regular and sustainable source of income. The crafts sold on our platforms are lovingly crafted by members of this community, local volunteer crafters and non-profit organisations in Singapore.
